Terms and conditions

These terms govern the use of the ASK FOR IT platform. By creating an account, you accept them. Do read them: they say what we do, what we do not do, and what we expect from you.
1. What the platform is for
ASK FOR IT is a sports intermediation platform. It lets football and basketball players publish a complete sports CV, and lets clubs, coaches and scouts search them by criteria. Our role stops at the introduction.
2. What we are not
ASK FOR IT is not a sports agent and does not claim to be one. We negotiate no contract, take no commission on a transfer and guarantee nobody a trial, a contract or a signing. No promise of results is made to a registered player.
3. Registration and account
Registration is free. You choose your role when creating the account and you undertake to provide accurate information. An account is personal: you are responsible for your password and for everything published from your account.
4. Underage players
A player under 18 may only be registered with the agreement of their legal guardian, who remains responsible for the content published. We never publish direct contact details for an underage player: approaches go through the platform.
5. What you publish
You warrant that you hold the rights to the texts, photographs and videos you publish, and that this content harms nobody. Videos are added as links to external platforms: you remain bound by the terms of those platforms.
6. Profile review
Every profile is reviewed by our team before it is published. A profile may be rejected or suspended if it is incomplete, unverifiable or contrary to these terms; the reason is then shown in your member area. Any change to an already approved profile sends it back for review.
7. Forbidden behaviour
The following are forbidden, among others: impersonating someone else, publishing false statistics or forged documents, asking a player for money while posing as a scout, mass-extracting the data on the site, and any hateful, insulting or discriminatory language.
8. Watch out for scams
No member of ASK FOR IT will ever ask you to pay for a trial, a selection or an introduction. If anyone asks you for money in the name of the platform or of a club met through it, do not pay and report it to us.
9. Documents and confidentiality
The sensitive documents you upload (passport, identity card, medical certificate) are never published nor downloadable, not even by a scout. They are used solely so that our team can verify your profile.
10. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why. Suspension cuts off access to the platform and removes the profile from search results.
11. Free of charge, and what comes next
The platform is free today. Paid services may be offered later; they will be clearly announced and will never turn what was published for free into something you must pay for without telling you first.
12. Service availability
We do what we can to keep the site reachable, without being able to guarantee it at all times: an interruption for maintenance, a breakdown or an external cause remains possible.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the platform grows. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page, and any significant change will be pointed out to you.
14. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Ivorian law. In the event of a dispute we look for an amicable solution first; failing that, the competent courts of Abidjan will have jurisdiction.
